Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers work as normal members of staff and must be willing to work hard as part of a team. Volunteer placements are available to candidates that can make a commitment for 3 months, are fluent in English, neat and presentable, and able to work with guests. Some relevant and applicable hospitality experience is preferred although not essential as alternative positions are also available.

Do note in order to qualify for a placement you need to –
(i) commit to 3 months
(ii) speak English
(iii) be neat and presentable in physical appearance
(iv) be within the age group of 18 – 35 years.

Placement Costs

A placement fee as listed below is required for each volunteer work placement programme. You are responsible for your own travel arrangements and comprehensive medical and travel insurance.

A 30% deposit is required on your enrolment in the Volunteer Work Placement Programme, and the balance of the placement fee is payable 5 weeks before arrival.
